Death Star From Yeti Cannabis – 8.75/10


Nose:

  • earthy
  • pine
  • somewhat of a funky smell – like a smelly hippy
  • has a cheeziness to it – B.O. cheeziness
  • somewhat nutty
  • definitely getting some plasticky greasy petroleum product smell
  • little bit of a tropical fruit smell when broken open


Look:

  • manicure seems decent – just a few shaggy leaves
  • somewhat dryer dense & springy buds
  • mix of light & dark green w/ orangey stigmas & large amounts of sparkly trichomes
  • sparkles inside & out
  • still nice & sticky


Roll:

  • RAW single wide paper w/ smaller filter tip used
  • busted up fairly evenly & consistent sized
  • seems to be above average amount of bud stuck in the grinder
  • no more than average amount of crystally dust left behind
  • rolled really easily – gotta love that stickiness
  • ash is darker grey with a soft texture but stains fingers black


Taste:

  • earthy – literally tasted like dirt on the first puff
  • pine forest
  • really nice pleasant taste
  • has a fresh forest in the middle of the fall type taste
  • little bit of glue/paste
  • getting some nuttiness
  • has a construction paper flavour
  • hints of poorly made digestive cookie
  • gets a bit harsh towards the end


High:

  • started to kick in during the last 1/4 of the J
  • head feels nice & foggy
  • body feels limber & nice
  • almost has a clean laundry aftertaste
  • very relaxing
  • 10min in and its developed a pleasant chesty feeling
  • head is very spaced out

Death Star is an Indica dominant hybrid strain of marijuana known for it’s potency and having a creeping onset. While you may be eyeing this strain in particular as a Star Wars fan, it’s got a lot more going for it than just a cool name.
Death Star is a cross of the infamous Sour Diesel and Sensei Star. This cross breeding results in Death Star having a mix of both indica and sativa effects, giving it a nice balance. This strain is renowned for having high THC Content with potent effects. The buds are thick, fat, and sticky.
Death Star features dark orange hairs on dark green leaves, but can also feature bright, green leaves with darker green accents, and the same vibrant, amber trichomes. Death Star has a pungent, Earthy aroma, many likening it’s powerful fragrance as similar to that of a skunks.
Bear in mind it’s going to be a bit tricky covering of the strong odor of Death Star even just breaking up the sticky buds will leave the room with that unmistakable Death Star scent. The taste is dominantly diesel with a slight citrus kick. The sweetness varies a bit, coming in waves. If you’re a big diesel fan you’ll absolutely love Death Star.
